...the dashboard says we have 535 active cases, that is to say they have 535 positive confirmed cases. This is not an accurate number, especially since the testing here is still rolling out. It also says that as of this morning we had 20 deaths, THIS is probably an accurate number. If we use the 1% mortality figure, the real case count in Georgia will be found to be around 2000.
You can take this game further and guess that the hospitals have around 400 cases and the ICUs have about 40 cases statewide. I'll dig into those numbers today and see how it matches in real life.
