Study on inactivation of viruses by sunlight *Link*

This is in the context of biowarfare and is not particularly relevant to coronavirus since coronavirus seems to be primarily transmitted from person to person in close proximity where there is no extended exposure to sunlight anyway, but I was using my shortwave UV lamp and was curious how effective it might be for inactivating positive-sense RNA viruses.

I shut it off for now, as it was producing too much ozone (which is also a good disinfectant but which is hard on rubber, plastic, lungs, eyes, etc.). I covered my vintage phone restoration lightbox with underwear from the dirty laundry hamper to give the ozone something to oxidize rather than everything else in the house including me.
