Business heavy usage. HP. On servers. We moved to SSD several years ago. They did seem to have a higher failure rate than the 10krpm? spinners we had up to that point.
We also had more SSD failures on our workstations relative to HD.
That was 5 yrs ago though so things may be different.
My current personal gaming setup is a SSD for the heavy games and as C drive.
My D drive is a massive spinning disc. That’s where I keep all the other detritus and most data.
After 2.5 yrs of the above - no issues.
