There will have to be some shake-ups in the OS world

Operating in the arm64 realm of the NVIDIA Jetson Nano has exposed (1) the relative lack of support for arm64 platforms and (2) the lack of optimization to utilize high-performance computing architectures, such as the Nano's 128 GPU cores. The quad-core ARM CPU slugs along doing things that should be parallelized across the GPU cores. At this point, AI on desktop, laptop, tablet, phone, or embedded devices is still a novelty, but that will change, and OSs that embrace and support that change will be favored.
