I'm going to pick up some used cell site AGM batteries

this weekend. They are rated at 5000 amps short circuit current, so they'd make a good jumpstart box for a diesel locomotive or semi truck or whatever, as long as one doesn't let the jumper cable clips touch each other. I have never had good luck with the fancy jumpstart boxes, so what I use is four 12V 7AH gel cell batteries (just because I got them for free) that I connect together in parallel, which is enough to start a 5.7L V8.
